I created a Number Munchers clone, Math Cruncher with XNA in 2010. It became tied up in QA testing for a while, but finally released in July 2011. It takes a disturbing amount of time to polish a game to the point where it can be released to the public. I was really driven to see it to completion though. I loved this game back in elementary school and I always wanted to release a commercial videogame! Go buy it on your xbox, it is only $1.

I had a bunch of drawings I did while I was bored and wanted to work on my line-making. As you can see from most of them, I wanted to memorize how to draw mario’s head. Luigi for some reason was really easy to draw

Ray Tracer Project

This was my final project for computer graphics. It is a ray tracer made from scratch using C++. It uses openGL and GLUT to view completed renderings and it uses EasyBMP to save bitmaps and also for texture loading. It supports a lot of effects like the phong lighting model, super-sampling, textures, shadows, transparent shadows, refraction, reflection, emissive objects, and fog. I got a perfect grade plus the maximum amount of extra credit for this project.

Katamari Lite Project

This was a two part project for my computer graphics class in Fall 2009. We were assigned to make an implementation of Katamari Damacy, which involved lots of matrix transformations and physics. We were also tasked with integrating someone else’s cloth physics into our program. It was a lot of work getting the stickiness of the ball right and getting all the collision detection working, but it was well worth it.

Note about controls: Some of the buttons are not listed in the second menu screen. The key “s” changes the skybox and ground textures, and the key “c” changes the cloth texture

openGL pong project

For my computer graphics class, our first assignment was a pong-like 2D game. I created extra features like a welcome screen, extra game modes, high scores, sound effects and music. Use the arrow keys to move the paddle up and down. Hit ‘r’ to reset a game that is in progress.

Bridge Above Clouds Digital Drawing

This is a drawing I made during some free time. I saw some interesting landscapes on some art webpages and decided to make something with similar elements. I first drew it in Autodesk Sketchbook Pro and then I manipulated it with Photoshop Elements to acheive different lighting.

Maya 2009 Renders

I spent several days experimenting with Maya’s architectural material shader and Mental Ray’s Physical Sky and Sun renderer. I modeled some dice and some other random objects to show off the shaders and lighting.

XNA 2D Ninja Platformer

This project is a 2D Platforming game that I have been making with the XNA Framework. It is heavily inspired by another 2D platformer, “I Want To Be The Guy” (Link To Their Website) and this Youtube video of the game (Youtube Video of that game).

This game is still in progress, here is a preview video: Preview Video of XNA 2D Ninja Platformer (The game runs at a silky smooth 60 frames per second, but recording the video with FRAPS caused some choppiness).
